After UAE and Bahrain the Latest Country to Offer Covid-19 Third Dose Vaccination


        As the pandemic situation not slowing down and the importance of taking precautions and getting vaccination is also runs with the same pace to it. Many people still don’t believe on vaccination and the effect of vaccination also still in the question. Especially if the vaccination is from the country of origin.

        To overcome these doubts and boost confidence about the vaccination, government and celebrities are promoting the vaccination drive and getting vaccinated.

        People of Hungary have expressed concern that they are not fully protected from COVID-19, and have demanded third doses.


        Likewise, the government of Hungary have decided to offer their people the option of taking a third dose of a COVID-19 vaccine from August 1, 2021 regardless of age, health or which vaccine they received initially. And also they have decided to make the vaccination mandatory for the front line workers (Healthcare people), Prime Minister Viktor Orban told state radio on Friday.

        He also told doctors have the right to decide who are all needed the the third dose and period of dose after the second shot. Minimum of 4 months is duration after the second shot, unless doctors advise otherwise.

        Hungary, a population of 1 crore, was one of the first country to start vaccinate people using Russian and Chinese vaccines even before the approval. They also uses Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca vaccination to vaccinate people.


        Children aged 12-16 also will be vaccinated before the first days of September as the school year starts.

        Hungary is the latest country to offer booster shots amid concerns that some jabs do not provide full protection from COVID-19 to recipients. In May, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain announced they would offer third shots to some people who received China’s Sinopharm following concerns over insufficient development of antibodies, which protect against the virus.

        Until now Hungary had vaccinated more than 50 lakh people, while the number of total cases rose to 8,08,661 with 30,013 deaths.
