How Indians Save Money: Change your Perception towards India

        A decade back most of the foreigners thought India is a land with full of beggars. But this news will make you to know how Indians portrayed themselves in the world.


        Sanjay Gaikwad, a Shiv Sena member in Kalyan, Maharashtra had Rolls Royce car worth Rs 8 crore. But he pays the electricity bill after Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) filed a case against him for electricity theft.

                                    

        As per the information flying squad from MSEDCL headed by Ashok Bundhe, Additional executive engineer visited the Gaikwad residence in March, 2021. It was at construction site at survey number 30, HN 15A and HN ½ , Amarai, Tisgaon, Kolshewadi, Kalyan East.

        Officials surveyed to find the construction site was using electricity through theft and had no meters. It was found that the total usage of electricity counts to Rs 34,840 and he was imposed with a fine of Rs 15,000. Even after the revelation of this theft Sanjay Gaikwad didn’t pay the bill. With no indication of payment, a case has been registered against Gaikwad at Mahatma Phule police station under section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003 on June 30.

        After registering the complaint  Gaikwad made the payment and fine imposed on him. Now MSEDCL have approached the police to take back the case.

India is not land of beggars it is the land of people who can do anything to save money.
