Anti-Sex Bed, Condoms as Souvenirs: Tokyo Summer Olympics 2021

There are different methods to take precautions from not getting Covid-19. Government also takes extreme steps to control the spreading of virus, some may even look absurd. But the difficult situation makes to take extreme steps. Such kind of steps are being by the government of Japan.

As the summer Olympics 2020 is postponed to 2021 due to pandemic, Japan government take extreme measure for the successful conducting of the same.

To promote social-distancing and make uncomfortable to participants who wants to sleep together Olympic organisers have installed a beds with cardboard.

Many participants complained funnily that the bed is 'anti-sex' bed. As the bed only hold only one persons force and weight. If two persons are trying to share a single bed or try to have intimate then there is higher chance of that bed to break.

Some participants also showcase the strength of the bed.

Since Japan is mostly known for its recycling waste, as many as 18,000 beds and mattresses going to be used for both the Olympics and the Paralympic Games would be recycled into paper products. It has been designed and manufactured by a company called Airweave.

Earlier the organizers had struck deals with four condom manufacturers to provide around 1,60,000 condoms for athletes at the village as part of the Olympic tradition. But the athletes were advised to not use the free condoms, instead, they were told to take them to their country as souvenirs to raise awareness for HIV.

In view of pandemic many bizarre, precautionary steps have taken by the Olympic committee such as prohibition, usage, supply and smuggling of alcohol inside the Olympic village also banned. Families are also banned in entering into the Olympic village.
